Routes & Pace

Paved routes with more elevation than typically seen in Champaign:

  • 36-mile Route
  • 64-mile Route
  • Pace: "Show and Go" (ride at your own pace).
  • Equipment: Larger tires (30C+) recommended for comfort on rough patches.

What to Bring
  • Printed cue sheet or GPS computer
  • Extra water and food (limited service stops)
  • Tools and tubes to fix a flat
  • A riding buddy (don't ride alone!)
Route Notes & Water
  • Kingman (mi 22/49): Red & White Grocery is open.
  • Montezuma (mi 27): Gas station/convenience store open (64-mi route).
  • Note: Oasis and Tastee Freeze are closed on Mondays.
