Cranksgiving Ride This aturday!

Cranksgiving is a scavenger hunt of sorts where you bike to the various checkpoints (in this case grocery stores) and complete certain tasks at each checkpoint (buy a food item from a list you will be given) and then ride to the next checkpoint. It is a relatively simple concept and last year was a resounding success. We had 41 riders participate and gathered over 600 pounds of food that was then donated to the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. As with last years event we have a number of sponsors and there will be prizes given away for the people who gather the most food. This is a great way to get some exercise, have some fun, and donate to those less fortunate. Hope to see you out there. I'll be sending out another email closer to the date with any updated information (including a full list of sponsors and some of the prizes).
