Editing existing pages is pretty easy -- you go to the page you're interested in, and click the "edit" button. Most additions will be in the form of a "story" -- use the "add content" link (available after logging in) to add news stories. Stories can have attachments, so posting newsletters (for example) can be done by posting a story with an attached PDF document.
